Our '01' is a celebration of local flora. Inspired by Walter Hill's work with Queensland's native plants, this gin is infused with a selection of botanicals that are as vibrant and diverse as the state itself, reflecting the local character and Hill's horticultural expertise.
This gin recipe is derived from Queensland Dry, the most highly awarded Gin of Brisbane: A multiple double gold winner.
Walter Hill was the first curator of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, serving from 1855 to 1881. A pioneering botanist and horticulturist, he was instrumental in introducing and cultivating a wide range of plants in Queensland, laying the foundation for botanical science and agriculture in the state. This gin is our nod to the purity of the water from the Enoggera Reservoir that flowed through the Walter Hill Fountain.Pre-order Restock arriving August.
